Updates for the 2024-2025 winter sports season, Powdermill Inn Resort, Bessemer, Michigan 49911:
Notice to everyone looking to rent a room for the upcoming ski/snowboard/snowmobile season.
All of my units are presently rented out, thus I have no units available for rent by the day or week this winter.
There are several other owners who do have units available for rent, and you could try some of the other owner's sites.
I do not know the names of all of the other web sites, but one is UP North Lodging (this is a pun-get it?). There are others but different owners have different rental policies so you will have to check the various sites to find out which owners have rooms available and how much they might be asking for a daily or weekly rental.
On other news, the 2024-2025 Ski Season will be an active one, with all three of the ski areas in the Bessemer area open this winter. Plus there is Whitecap Mountain in Wisconsin, just a little drive further to the west from Bessemer.
Snowmobiling and cross-country skiing will also be possible given the amount of snow we typically get in a winter.
There is also plenty to do during the summer, as golf, tennis, hiking, boating, and fishing are all popular pastimes in the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan
The Board of Directors is listed in a separate listing on this website, and these are the people to contact with questions or comments about Powdermill Inn Resort.
For those of you interested in purchasing a unit at Powdermill Inn Resort and staying in it or renting it out, keep in mind that there will be some expense involved with owning a unit at the Powdermill Inn Resort. There will be Homeowner's Association Dues, fees for sewer and water service (called PAUD fees up here), taxes, and whatever cable or telephone service you choose to maintain.
However, this building is literally across the street from the Big Powderhorn Ski Area, and only a few minutes from the former Indianhead Mountain and former Blackjack Mountain, as well as a short drive to Whitecap Mountain in Wisconsin.
There is also snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, fishing, hiking, hunting and even golf in the immediate area, so I am sure you will find Powdermill Inn to be a great place for a little quiet and relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of the big city.
For those of you who have never visited the Powdermill Inn Resort, I have posted some pictures of one of the second floor loft units on this website. The first floor units are similar, except the loft (extra bedroom) does not exist for the first floor units.
